SDXC Card Readers Integrated in Laptop Companies

SDXC Card Reader

SDXC Card Reader

During CES 2009 SDXC presented the new card readers, a standard that offers greater storage capacity for memory cards and a higher speed transfer of these. And this year there has been too much movement in this area.

And is that a new format to begin to impose is necessary to have readers available for this type of storage, something that still does not happen to the SDXC. But do not be long before we see the first models equipped with portable readers.

Some notebook and laptop companies such as Lenovo, Dell Computers or HP Hewlett-Packard will integrate SDXC readers in their laptops equipped with Arrandale 32nm processors from Intel. The connections do not become through via the USB bus which does not offer enough speed, but by PCIe. Hopefully this will serve not only to get cards with speed and higher capacity, but even more to lower price currently on the market at the moment.
