TerraStar Genus Smartphone with GPS Technology

TerraStar-Genus-GPS-SmartphoneTerraStar Genus is a new smartphone which has just been announced by AT&T and TerraStar. What is special about the TerraStar Genus is that when the AT&T network is not available, the Genus can be connected to the satellite to provide coverage anywhere in United States region using its IP network solution.

The TerraStar Genus smartphone combines capacity of wireless connection terrestrial GSM / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA with voice capacity and data by satellite on a smartphone standard. Other Terra Star Genus features implemented by the WinMo OS, has a 2.6 inch touch screen, Bluetooth, WiFi and a built-in GPS receiver.

At this moment, this TerraStar Genus smartphone from AT&T that would be available during the first quarter of 2010 is oriented government users, energy, public services and shipping transport. The good news is, this smartphone GPS TerraStar Genus also working on a device for consumers.
